Higher Wisdom

No one should deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, he must become foolish so that he can become wise. For the wisdom of the world is foolishness with God, since it is written: He catches the wise in their craftiness; and again, The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise are meaningless. So no one should boast in Human leaders, for everything is yours- whether Paul or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come- everything is yours, and you belong to Christ, and Chrust belongs to God. 1 Cor 3:18-23

In our insecurity we cling to things, to names, to clubs, to churches, to people. However, we have no need of clinging as we have been set free and we have all we need in Christ. Nothing can separate us from Him; we are His and He is ours.

We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for His good pleasure, for relationship with Him. Let us not stop short by clinging to worldly people and titles. People may love or hate us, they are fickle, yet God is constant and never fails. Amen!

Wisdom, true wisdom, is being centered in Christ and taking on His wisdom which is pure and undefined. Amen! Yes it is good to belong to church but let us press on to know Him. Amen!
