The Fear of The Lord
The fear of The Lord is clean, enduring forever. Psalm 19:9
I either have a respect for The Lord, His word, His heart, His desires and all that He is, first and foremost or I pick and choose being my own god.
What is it to be? Me or He?
I am grateful He is God. Yesterday I went to Rottnest Island and the weather did not look promising. I called on The Lord as His daughter and expected an answer. The weather stayed fine all day. Mind you the boat trip across to the mainland was a wild ride as the seas had picked up, but then I like wild rides.
Because I fear The Lord I know He hears my prayer and answers them. He loves me more than I could ever imagine.
I had a 'red eye' trip back to Brisbane and am now waiting on my son to return from NZ so we can go home together. It is raining cats and dogs, just like last year. But this time my son has remembered to collect me. Today I don't mind the rain as I want to catch more sleep.
My God goes before me. Amen!
