Miracles in Small Things
When evening came, the disciples approached Him and said, "This place is a wilderness, and it is already late. Send the crowds away so they can go into the village and buy food for themselves."
"They don't need to go away," Jesus told them, "You give them something to eat."
"But we only have five loaves and two fish here, " they said to Him.
"Bring them here to Me," He said. Then He commanded the crowd to sit down on the grass, He took the five loaves and two fish, and looking to heaven, He blessed them. He broke the loaves and gave the to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. Everyone ate and was filled. Then they picked up 12 baskets full of leftover pieces! Now thiose who ate were about 5,000 men, beside women and children. Matthew 14:15-21
I have had times of very little and were expecting guests but rather than panick I looked for what I had and prepared it. What amazed me it became much and there was an abundant left over. The key for me was to trust the Lord with the little and allow Him to create the much. We can have a mindset of :' if I don't have this and this then I cannot feed the many.' By having such a mindset we limit God. He can use our little.
Another thing I want to bring into this is prophesy. Prophesy takes what is not and speaks over it and the seed of what it is to become is planted. This morning I had a sense to prophesy over my life and it was amazing the things that came out. I then prophesied over my business and my health. Prophesy births life. I didn't craft what I wanted to say I opened my mouth and allowed the Holy Spirit to speak to me.
It is time to prophesy! Time to bring hope and life, time to release the Spirit of God. Amen!
