Set Them Free

Do not judge, so that you won't be judged. For wih the judgement you use, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye but don't notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me take the speck out of your eye, and look, there's a log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First take the log out of your eye, then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. Matthew 7:1-5

Ah! Judgement again! And again I need to hear it. How subtle it is when wronged. I have been challenged lately about this. If God puts my sins in the sea of forgetfulness, why do I put the sins of others in the sea of remberance?

May there be no more rubbish come out of my mouth. I am about to conduct a new DivorceCare course and I am convicted to not rubbish my ex-husband. Last week I had a cousin visit who was recently separated from her husband and, as you do, we got to talking about the whys and where fores. I found myself having much more sympathy for my ex than ever before, yet there were still some memories in need to drop. What good is it to regurgitate rubbish? Who does it benefit? Why cage someone because they hurst me?

We are told not to judge so that we will not be judged. I don't know about you but I want favour all over me. Therefore I must put favour all over everyone in my past. Release so that I can be released. Amen!
