Time to See

As Jesus went out from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting, "Have mercy on us Son of David!" When He entered the house, the blind men approached Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe I can do this?" "Yes, Lord," they answered Him. Then He touched their eyes, saying, "Let it be done for you according to your faith!" And their eyes were opened. Matthew 9:27-30

Opening blind eyes and unstopping deaf ears is all what Jesus is about. My prayer is that the deaf will hear and the blind will see. For this to happen they have to be apprehended, stopped in their tracks and made aware of their plight. I am talking about spiritual blindness and spiritual deafness. 

We have an enemy who keeps us so busy we cannot see our plight but an act of God stops time and allows us to understand our need. This is a time of revelation.

I am praying for souls, that the time of peace will come, the time of revelation. The time when the grace of God comes into hearts and lives and sets them free. 

My God longs for this, He waits for the time of encounter. Now is the time of encounter in someone's life, right now they are coming to see their darkest need, they are hearing the good news, spiritually, for the very first time. New birth! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
