A Different View

Before the men fell asleep, Rahab went up in the roof and said to them, "I know that the Lord has given you this land and that the terror of you has fallen on us, and everyone who lives in the land is panicking because of you. For we have heard how the Lord dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two Amorites kings you completely destroyed across the Jordan. When we heard this we lost heart, and everyone's courage failed because of you, for the Lord your God n heaven above and on the earth below." Joshua 2:8-11

Isn't it amazing that Rahab reported on events that put the Israelites in a high profile. She did not know about their sin, or their wandering in the desert, or if she did she failed to mention them.

What we remember about ourselves is not what the spirit world sees or fears. What we remember is not what others see or remember.

What God says about us is much more important than our failings. What is most important is that we are purchased by the precious blood of the lamb, we are washed and sanctified, lifted up and seated in heavenly places. The Spirit of the living God dwells within us and we, the born of God, can overcome the world because of our faith.

We have he mind of Christ, should we choose to use it. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are a temple folks!!  A temple is a holy, sacred, set apart place where sacrifices of praise are made, where we worship and where our God delights, delights, delights to dwell.

When faced with a challenge see it as an opportunity to bring the Kingdom of God to this mortal coil. His answers are there for us, His solutions are there for us. Seek them out, delight in the search, enjoy the delving into His mysteries, there is gold there, dig for it, bring the glory of God to earth. Amen.

Stand up you valiant ones! Be all you are born to be! Amen!
