What Tools do You Have?
"When the Son of man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, "Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me;
I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me. "
Matthew 25:31-36
The righteous go on to say,' lord when did we do all these things to you?' And He replied, "when you did it for the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to Me!"
Our Lord identifies with us, if we are the least in our own eyes and the eyes of others, those who assist us are blessed. Likewise, when we do similar we are blessed.
Our God assess us on these values. Not what we do in building buildings, businesses, churches, etc, but in humbling ourselves and slowing down to love humankind.
I am grateful that my business gives me an avenue to meet others. I cannassist by assisting when no one else will, by not robbing my fellow man, by making room for those who need work and giving every opportunity to excel. In my neighbourhood I can give love to the lonely, grace to the needy and make room in my home to the homeless.
All I have are tools for the Kingdom, just tools, not asset to gloat but be used for His glory. What can I do with what He has given me? How can I manage what He has given me so that it multiplies and spreads?
What do you have to use?
