Where is Your Path?

Now Jesus stood before the governor. "Are you the King of the Jews? The governor asked Him.
Jesus answered him, "You have said it." And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He didn't answer.

Then Pilate said to Him, "Don't You hear how much they are testifying against You?" But He didn't answer him on even one charge, so that the governor was greatly amazed. Matthew 27:11-14

Jesus answered to the truth not the lie. His accusers were fabricating lies to have their own way. Why argue with liars and cheats? Yet the governor represented authority and was the one who could crucify Him. Jesus knew who He was, what He had to do and where He was going. There was a path He had to tread, horribly unpleasant but a path that led to the greatest victory over sin and death. Amen!

I must not love my life, even to death, because I have a path to walk and though I would wish for another path, this is it! The reward is great and the many I bring to the cross will testify it was worth it.

Amen!
