He is Watching!

The Lord watches over the blameless all their days, and their inheritance will last forever. Psalm 37:18

When going through a rough time we can look at this scripture and believe God lies. We could ask if God is watching over me and things are going wrong I wonder what would happen if He didn't watch? We could also question the part about the inheritance. We could say I have inherited trouble, I don't want this to go to my kids.

Yes well, all very valid if you judge things according to your own perspective and vision. Who is blameless? Those whom God says are blameless, those who accept a walk of faith and trust their God to make them blameless. God was watching over His Son and He had struggles, you might say He gave His life in a struggle for our lives. Jesus had a good communicative relationship with His father but still He struggled. Struggles are a sign of life, struggles are what we have when we want progress.

So, we now understand we do not need to be saints, in the traditional sense, that is, very holy. We live by faith in the one who is holy and who has perfected us.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, is as we see it but rather as God sees it. His perspective is the only one that counts. We must appropriate His perspective if we want peace. He is in control. All we have to do is trust and obey. If I trust I follow, if I trust I relax and give up the reins. If I trust all things work together for my good, even the bad. Amen!
