Can We Trust Jesus?

While He was still speaking, people came from the synagogue leader's house and said, "Your daughter is dead. Why bother the Teacher anymore?"
But when Jesus overheard what was said, He told the synagogue leader, "Don't be afraid. Only believe." Mark 5:35,36

Constantly we are confronted by the death of our dream, what will we do? Myself, I must go to Jesus and hear what he says. What  He says is important.

Jarius, the synagogue leader, was being challenged. He had been taught sickness was a curse, a judgement for sin. He was facing the biggest challenge of his life, 'only believe'.

Janus would have had Jesus teach in his synagogue. Did faith enter his heart when he heard Jesus? He was putting his reputation on the line for his daughter and Jesus.

I remember a time when I had faith for my daughter. She was born into death but faith was in my heart and she lived without the judgement of the doctor. Yet when she was eight she had another issue and I had no faith, the Lord asked me to trust. It was the hardest thing I had had to do up to that time. Trust I did and she went though the fiery ordeal and came out the other side.

Our God is good, we can trust Him! Amen!
