Facing Fear

On the third day, Esther dressed up in her royal clothing and stood in the inner courtyard of the palace facing it. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the royal courtroom, facing its entrance. As soôn as the king saw Queen Esther standing in the courtyard, she won his approval. The king extended the gold sceptre in his hand toward Esther, and she approached and touched the tip of the scepter.
"What is it, Queen Esther?" the king asked her, "Whatever you want, even to half the kingdom, will be given to you." Esther 5:1-3

Esther had been afraid to go to the king. However, she and all her people fasted for three days and then she went. She had not been summoned to the king for over a month and the law prohibited her going to him unless he called her, on pain of death.

This fear must have been very real. She had probably seen many die this way. Yet Gkd was on her side, she was about His work.

What is it you fear? Who is it you fear? Is God not able to protect you and give you a voice? If Gkd is in an action, a stand, a word, then He will protect you.

Recently I had to make a stand and voice truth. The fear of offending someone was very real, but my God was in the action. I had to confront a brother. I pray he comes to what God has for him. I did by being obedient.
