Source of Healing

Then Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honour except in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his household." So He was not able to do any miracles there, except that He laid hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He was amazed at their unbelief. Mark 6:4-6

How our offence can keep us from divine healing is amazing. I wonder if Reinhard Bonke has the same problem, I believe he does. I have seen this man preach in Australia and very few are healed. Why? We have hard hearts full of unbelief. We have been conditioned to sickness and going to the doctors.

I look in anybody's medicine cupboard and it is full of either self-medication or prescription drugs. Pharmacy is the replacement for faith. What is wrong with sitting in the presence of God and allowing Him to minister, or going to church with faith expecting a miracle?

The people in Jesus' town stayed sick, rather than believe. Wouldn't it be better to repent and see a new mind?

Let Christ it, allow your minds to change, allow your hearts to be challenged and be healed. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
