Two types of People
At once Jesus realised in Himself that power had gone out from Him. He turned around in the crowd and said, "who touched Me?"
His disciples said to Him, "You see the crowd pressing against You, and You say, "Who touched Me?"
So He was looking around to see who had done this. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came with fear and trembling, fell down before Him, and told Him the whole truth. "Daughter," He said to her, "your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be free from your affliction." Mark 5:30-34
We see two groups of people here: the mass or the crowd wanting to touch Jesus. They were the fan club; then there was a desperate woman needing a miracle. She had said to herself, "if I can just touch the hem of His garment, I will be well." This woman had faith.
Anywhere we go we see these two groups of people: the spectators and the engaged. The spectators did not seek much, just a spectacle, yet the engaged were desperately in need, they engaged their faith.
Yesterday I heard an excellent message about the Blood of Christ. Simply done but powerfully presented. I came away with a deposit and went back at night for more. I received a garnet of truth, that is all I needed. This morning I was awake early praying and when I sat down at work the Lord dropped a God idea into my Spirit. Oh! How I love those!
I acted on the idea because last night the garnet of truth involved such a moment. I was ready. I prayed for the Lord to give me a dream. It wasn't quite like I expected but it is a dream. A dream to bring many into a project to fund the kingdom.
And when I had finished contacting all I needed for that project, there was another. I love this! I acted again. Now I have two funding projects under way. One for the Kingdom and one for Tamworth. I suspect the second will lead souls to the kingdom. The second involves the skate park opposite my office. I want to bring life to that place. I want a toilet facility there for the little people and the grey nomads who park alongside. I pick up trash in the park every work day and as I collect I pray the blood of Jesus all over it, I want souls, lots of souls.
I have invited my church to partner with me to reach the skaters. Oh! Souls Lord! Amen!
Everyone who heard the same messages had the same opportunity. I wonder what God ideas are being birthed. Let us see!
