Your Time is Now!

Mordecai told the messenger to reply to Esther, "Don't think you will escape the fate of all the Jews because you are in the king's palace. If you keep silent at this time, liberation and deliverance will come to the Jewish people from another place, but you and your father's house will be destroyed. Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this." Esther 4:13,14

There are times when the Christian needs to confront sin and not stay silent. As most people don't like to confront many hide away and say nothing. Fear is in control. Fear of man, fear of persecution, fear of failure are but a few.

Right now we are facing gross injustice and outrageous immorality. Same sex marriage is just the beginning. Already transgenders are lining up to be next. Laws are being passes that make it imperative that children are taught all forms of foul doctrines in the name of 'right' and 'just.'

Even in government someone has to die before a much sought bridge crossing is installed, traffic lights are installed. It appears that the Christian needs a gross injustice to occur before they are willing to speak out. Will it be too late?

In Papua New Guinea, above Australia, the Indonesian government is conducting mass slaughter of the natives and no one is concerned. How do we, in Australia think we will be safe from these invaders. Do we presume we are stronger?

What if the Christian continues to be lukewarm? Where will they end up?

ISIS plans to attack Israel, who will help?

Destruction is coming, greater than that already seen. Are we ready? Or do we insist on living just for us and our comfort, me and mine. Why I must go on holiday, I must do a cooking course, no time for all this, it upsets my sensitive soul.

The bridegroom is coming for His bride. Who will be left behind?

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
