Forgiveness and Believing
Jesus replied to them, "Have faith in God. I assure you: if anyone says to the mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but he believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for- believe that you have received them, and you will have them. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing. (But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father forgive you.) mark 11:22-26
Jesus had just cursed the fig tree and the disciples reported to Him, the next day, "Look it is withered up!" The time in between the cursing and the withering Jesus had thrown people out of the temple for selling goods to sacrifice.
Here Jesus talks about receiving if we believe in our hearts but then He goes on to talk about forgiveness. Unforgiveness takes up the room that faith requires and if it is there we cannot believe and therefore receive.
Jesus had an opportunity to show this. He found people desecrating the temple, His Father's house. Although He threw them out He obviously forgave them and was not cluttered with unforgiveness.
