He is Coming, Be Ready!

"Now concerning that day or hour, no one knows- neither the Angels in heaven nor the Son- except the Father. Watch! Be alert! For you don't know when the time is coming. It is like a man on a journey, who left his house, gave authority to his slaves, gave each one his work, and commended the doorkeeper to be alert. Therefore, be alert, since you don't know when the master of the house is coming-whether in the evening or midnight or at the crowing of the rooster or early morning. Otherwise, he might come suddenly and find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to everyone: Be Alert!" Mark 13:32-37

What stands out to me is: Be Alert! What does this mean? Jesus Himself tells us: not sleeping. Asking Christ into our hearts is one thing but living for Him and walking in our destiny is another. We are here to change our part of the world by the salt and light living within us. The salt, much like the manna, when kept for ourselves and longer than we should, rots and is worthless. Are you rotting on the inside because all your salt is still inside and putrifying because you failed to give it out? Is you outer shell breaking apart because th slight in you is bursting its bonds, the bonds it was never meant to have?

The salvation experience is good news and is meant to be shared. When we share good news, we bring change to our world, we release the light of Christ into the lives of others.

Dullness of heart and mind in the Christian is sad, so sad. The enemy of their soul has trapped them with what they read and watch, making them believe that the world of the flesh is all there is. Gradually they lose hope for the miraculous and stop looking for Christ in their every day. He is new every morning and ready to be found by those who seek Him. Amen!

Repent! Turn again to the hope you once received! Ignite the flame and shine! Amen!
