Team Work

Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating and rebuked them for their unbelief and stubborn refusal to accept the testimony of those Who had seen Him after He had risen.
Then He said to them, "Go into all the word and preach the good news to all creation." Mark 16: 14,15

Do you know that a lot of good can be come by around the meal table. This past week I needed to have a team meeting and solve a few things. Fellowship is a good place to start, providing of course that I the leader starts with a good attitude. I set the tone. It was a success. I made soup and one of the girls brought a crispy loaf of bread and fresh butter. We had a good time together. The biggest problem I have had with the staff is the lack of team effort. I think I found a way.

Today I am in Brisbane and lo and behold my son had a similar problem with three of his sons. They were fighting over a game
and so he sat them down and talked about team playing. He then proceeded to play with them to show the way.

I don't mind. I am down by the water painting and having time out. Ah!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
