Jesus is Far Superior to Angels

For to which angels did He ever say, 'You are My Son'; 'today I have become a your Father,' or again, 'I will be His Father, and He will be my Son?' When again brings His firstborn into the world, He says, 'and all God's Angels must worship Him.' And about the Angels He says:
'He makes His Angels winds, and His servants a fiery flame,'
But to the Son:
'Your throne, God, is forever and ever, and the sceptre of Your kingdom is a sceptre of justice.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
This is why God Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy rather than Your companions.' Hebrews 1:5-9

I especially love the difference between angels and Jesus. Our world loves to deify angels, raising them above Christ. Why? Because He said He was Lord and that we need to abide in Him. Whereas, our culture see angels and doing our bidding. In fact the biggest problem unbelievers have with Jesus is : 'what did He ever do for me?' How arrogant!
Whereas Angels are sweet and nice.

Shall the pot speak thus to the potter? The trouble is we see ourselves as 'self-made,' and deny the assistance of God. The writer of Hebrews knew who Jesus was, what scripture said about Him and was happy to boldly declare all that He was.

The Father loves the Son and honours Him. The angels do His bidding, where He has elevated Jesus to sit at His right hand, as His work is finished. Amen!

Jesus is Lord!
