Keep it Flowing

But when the goodness of God and His love appeared, He saved us- not by works of righteousness that we have done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. He poured out this Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour, so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7

Praise god for grace. oh! how I need grace. Today I was cranky again and stirred up inside something fierce. Frustration at carrying victims, and the lack of team spirit. I have been banging on for 18months now about being a team and still have individuals jostling for their own space appear. To top it off my mother is back in hospital with the same stomach problems and they nagged at me.

This morning I promised I would pray for her. I Did, the sort of hurried prayer that we sometimes do. However, I think deep down the real reason I was cranky is I should have been praying in earnest. It took me about an hour to catch on. So I applied myself to prayer and knew I was facing a black monster. I prayed until it lifted and knew mum would be ok.

Later in the day I was visited by three young teenagers from the Skate Park. Oh how I enjoyed their company. The Lord loves these guys. They drank my cold water and chatted and took away some posters for their Skate Park event on 13 September. Now, that was good.

I then went to a prayer meeting and revelled in God's presence and prayed up a storm.

Now, what was cranky all about? Mmmm..... to bust up good things? perhaps! Destroy purpose?Perhaps! Stop the flow? definitely!
