The Terms of Salvation

This saying is trustworthy:
For if we have died with Him, we will also live with Him;
If we endure, we will also reign with Him;
If we deny Him, He will deny us;
If we are faithless, He remains faithful,
For He cannot deny Himself. 2tim 2:11-13

To me to live is Christ, to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21) Paul lived and breathed Christ,mHe was His mission, His purpose, His life. He is telling us here we must die to our own selfish desires and lives for the desires of Christ. When we truely live for Christ, then,Mae truely live.

Note, we get to reign, if we endure. Taking Jesus as Saviour is not enough, He must be Lord. The book of Revelation tells us the prizes that await those who endure. If we take our eyes of earthy treasures and fix them on eternity, then we reap the reward.

If we are unable to confess Christ and instead live in denial of Him, we cannot expect Him to acknowledge us in heaven. So many live their life their own way and refuse to acknowledge Christ as Lord. These enter eternity lost, forever and ever and ever. Yet when something goes wrong, they blame God? Why? Because they are the centre of their own universe and expect God to be their puppet. He's not! He's GOD!

If we are faithless, He is always faithful because this is one of His names: faithful and true. He cannot stop being who He is. He is faithful to forgive, faithful to restore, faithful to stay by our side. Through all things. He is faithful. Nothing, no one can separate us from the love of God. Romans 8:35-39

God comes on His terms not mine! But, ah those terms are full of love and life. As I yield and yield and yield, He gets better and better and better! Amen! He is good!
