The Strength of Faith

And what more can I say? Time is too short for me to tell about Gideon, Barak, Sampson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets, who by faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the raging of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, gained strength after being weak, became mighty in battle, and put foreign armies to flight. Women received their dead-they were rIsed to life again. Some men were tortured, not accepting release, so that they might gain a better resurrection, and others experienced mockings and scourgings, as well as bonds and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they died by the sword, they wandered about in sheepskins, in goatskins, destitute, afflicted, and mistreated. The world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and on mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground.
All these were approved through their faith, but they did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us. Hebrews 11:32-40

Faith is like Magnoplasm (a drawing ointment) used to draw out infection from wounds. Magnoplasm has a very high density and is able to draw weaker solutions out throug the skin. Faith is the powerhouse of God that attracts our hearts and compels us. It is stronger than our flesh. For those of us who believe and are committed to the Lord, loving His word above our own decisions and thoughts, faith grows and grows and draws and draws us on. I cannot but seek God and read His word twice daily. I am drawn to it, to Him, compelled.

I constantly look for messages and books that speak of Him. Today I heard what I consider the best message preached by TD Jakes on Dry Place. He explained that what God responds to is worship and the sound of worship is as the sound of running water. Excellent!

As I worship and lift God higher He looks after the rest. Amen! Right now as I write this I am listening to A Thousnad Hallelujahs by C3 Oxfor Falłs. Now, there is a church who understands the presence of God.

As I make room for my God, He comes in and fills me, my space, the atmosphere with Himself. Amen!
