Knowing their Saviour

On that day the Lord will extend His hand a second time to recover- from Aassyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Harmath, and the costs and islands of the west- the remnant of His people who survive. He will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the dispersed of Israel; He will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Isaiah 11:1,12

The Lord has already brought His people home in the last century and made them a people, in their own land again. There are still Israelites in the other parts of the world, I wonder if they all go home before the day of the Lord? Yet what I am looking for is that they all come to recognise their saviour as the One whom they crucified. That day, will be the day for them. Being made a nation is one thing but being brought home to God's heart is another. What a glorious day!

For us Gentiles, we can only look on at God's people with respect and amazement. Yet we can also love the saviour that came from them and be grateful that He came. Oh how grateful for the scriptures, the history, the plan. Thank you Lord!

My prayer is for God's people, that they will truely know Him! Amen!
