Turn to the Light!

Here am I with the children the Lord has given me to be signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts who dwell on mount Zion. When they say to you, " consult the spirits of the dead and the spiritists who chirp and mutter," should a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word there is no dawn for them. They will wander through the land, dejected and hungry. When they are famished, they will become enraged, and, looking upward, will curse their King and their God. They will look to the earth and see only distress, darkness, and the gloom of affliction, and they will be driven into thick darkness. Isaiah 8:18-22

Man without God is dead! Ephesians 2:1 says: we were once dead in our trespasses and sin.

Futility awaits all those who refuse to acknowledge God, yet many do, to what end? Why reject hope, life and deliverance?

It is pure stupidity to keep doing the same things expecting a different result. Walking away from the light is travelling into darkness. In the darkness there is no light and how great is that darkness. 

To be lost out in a paddock (field) and see a light ahead, who would not walk towards the light. Would it not be foolishness to turn away from the light and stumble in the darkness because the light was not to your liking? In the darkness are enemies, ditches, logs, ravines, rocks, snakes, wolves, bears, spiders. Ugh! Turn to the light! Amen!
