Wrath or Grace! You choose!

Woe to those enacting crooked statutes and writing oppressive laws to keep the poor from getting a fair trial and to deprive the afflicted among my people of justice, so that widows can be their spoil and they can plunder the fatherless. What will you do on the day of punishment when devastation comes from far away? Who will you run to for help? Where will you leave your wealth? There will be nothing to do except crouch among the prisoners or fall among the slain. In all this, His anger is not removed, and His hand is still raised to strike. Isaiah 10:1-4

We know there are those who do these things. John Newton was a slave trader and Jesus called Him. He lived the remainder of his days humbled by God's grace. He wrote the song: 'Amazing Grace.'The apostle Paul was killing the Christians when Jesus called him. He spent the rest of his days serving Christ and the body of Christ, forever convicted of God's grace. He wrote most of the epistles that we enjoy.

You might be far from Christ and a brutal beast, but, in an instant grace will capture you, and you will never be the same again. Grace is the most powerful weapon God has, it wipes out all opposition, stops battles, apprehend a hearts and minds. Did I say POWERFUL! Powerful!

Nothing can escape the wrath of God, and nothing can escape the grace of God. Grace has been poured out in these days. There is coming a judgement day, but it is not here yet. When it comes there will be no escape. However, a better place is the grace of God, full of forgiveness, mercy and power to make you right. Accept grace, allow God in to create a new person within! Amen!

Know Your Sword!

So he took Him to Jerusalem, had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, "if you are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
