Faithful to the End
Listen to Me, house of Jacob, all the remnants of the house of Israel, who have been sustained from the womb, carried along since birth. I will be the same until your old age and I will bear you up when you turn grey. I have made you, and I will carry you. I will bear and save you. Isaiah 46:3,4
I claim this as a promise to me today. There are times when all hell breaks loose and in those times the enemy seeks to convince that God has left us, is not and never has been for us. He is a liar and a thief.
At such times I must remind myself: 'if God be for me, who can be against me?'Romans 8:31 there are times we need to mediate on the word and speak it over and over to ourselves. For me this is one of those times. I am an ting a breakthrough and the opposite is happening. I realise I have entered new territory and have an enemy who does not want to leave, he will.
If we allow our enemy to overrun us we become salt without flavour, my testimony is my flavour. My testimony about God's goodness is the flavour, not my own efforts. My faith allows me to appropriate God's goodness. Amen!
