Fear Not!

Now this is what the Lod says- the One who created you, Jacob, and the One who formed you, Israel-
"Do not fear, I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine. I will be with you when you pass trough the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire, and he flames will not burn you." Isaiah 43:1,2

I remember years ago we sang a song written by Pastor Phil Pringle called: Fear Not! As I read these passages I hear the song and it is good to hear and sing over ourselves.

I am wanting to step out and trust my God! He is wanting to bless me and have me trust Him. I want more of Him, His promises, His blessing. I want all that He intends me to have, I want to do great exploits. I cannot stand for an ordinary life, one limited and caged.

As I watch the animals in the outback run through thousands of acres of land I am made mindful of freedom that He gives, this is what I want! 

When Fear Not was written Pastor Phil and his church were stepping out to do great exploits. In the spirit I can see and I can hear the battle cry, I am coming forward. Amen!

Know Your Sword!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
