New Things!

Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of old. Look I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see It? Indeed I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. The animals of the field will honour Me, jackals and ostriches, because I will provide water in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people. The people I formed for myself will declare My praise. Isaiah 43:18-21

When God says He will do a new thing, that is what He will do. At times, we are stuck in the past, either in offense or mistaken illusions that it was better than anything that could be. Both ideas are wrong.

I love new technology, new designs, new days especially, new mornings are beautiful! Yet meeting new people, sometimes takes effort. Tomorrow morning I am embarking on potentially joining a align group here in Tamworth, bush walking, mountain climbing and kayaking. Mm!

What if the new is so much fun? What if we learn something new? What if life takes a new turn? Well! Now there is a thought!

God love new! He also appreciates long-term friendships, ones that are not frightened of new. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
