Salvation Rain Down

"Heavens, sprinkle from above, and let the skies shower righteousness. Let the earth open up so that salvation will sprout and righteousness will spring up with it. I, Yahweh have created it. Isaiah 45:8

I love this imagery: salvation sprinkling for the heavens. Let the earth open up so that salvation will sprout and righteousness will spring up. This is my prayer! I pray this over my country, my state, my city, my street. I pray salvation to all who would plot evil, that the love of Christ would invade their hearts and minds and deliver them from hatred.

 I pray for the nations of the world, that salvation would so rain down that hatred will cease. I know that diligence in prayer brings results. I know that intercessors praying have seen miraculous breakthroughs. The power of the love of God is greater than the hatred of our enemy, Satan.

I can sit and complain or rise up and pray. I am a watchman for my area and must be diligent. Lord, use me to pray protection on my country, use me to foil the enemy in his plans. May we see an outpouring, never seen before, of your grace and mercy. Amen! I ask that souls will convert from Islam in the thousands, that repentance will be your gift to them, hat they will meet Jesus Christ and His love will disarm them. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
