Seek the Lord

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call to Him while He is near.
Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord, so He may have compassion on him,
And to our God for He will freely forgive. Isaiah 55:6,7

Another Scripture in Song comes to mind. Oh I am showing my age, but it came out of a time of revival and therefore it is cherished. This was the era I was saved into and my pastor was Bill Beard. He was a man of the spirit. We had tent crusades for our holidays. The last one I went to I was heavily pregnant and everyone fell down, except myself and a few very old people. I had laughter. Wow what a time.

It is time to seek the Lord again for His kingdom to come on the earth. I want the reality of Him, not just the status quo. Exciting services and awesome music pale in His presence, He is the best.

I want a manifestation of God on the earth, in my city. He rebukes gentler and more surer than any other, He encourages and picks up better than any other, He convicts and fills better than any other. He is good!

Seek Him today! Seek His presence, not His hand. All questions go when He is around. All trouble ceases when He is around. Seek Him, trust Him! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
