Be a Blessing

Now the end of all things is near; therefore, be serious and disciplined in prayer. Above all, maintain an intense love for each other, since that covers a multitude of sins.
Be hospitable to one another without complaining. Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God. If anyone speaks, it should be as one who speaks from God's words; if anyone serves, it should be from the strength God provides, so that a God may be glorified through Jsus Chrsit in everything. To a him belong the glory and the power for ever and ever Amen!

We are closer than ever to the end of all things, our God is coming soon! Amen! What a glorious day that will be, but let Him not find us being lazy and unprepared for we will give an account of our behaviour.

Peter exhorts us to be serious and disciplined in prayer. Prayer and relationship with God is what sustains us. He is the vine and we are the branches if we fail to draw on His life, through prayer, we shrivel and die. If we fail to keep the flow going we become angry, bitter and very selfish.

As one who has been a nurse, I know, allowing our blood vessels to clog because we eat the wrong food, will cause us to die prematurely of heart disease or stroke. So it is with our spiritual life, if we clog the vessels bringing us His life, we die prematurely and are a waste of space in the kingdom of God.

I have a few tomatoe plants, I have noticed that if the branches drop the life flow is cut off and the branch withers and dies and the fruit do not have a chance to mature and be a blessing. We must mature in Christ and be a blessing to our world.

We are exhorted to maintain intense love for each other. Intense love is blind to faults and gracious. Without the love of Christ this is impossible. So, stay connected and let the love flow.

What is the gift God has given you? Use it for the chuch and the community. Serve in your gifting! Amen!

Above all, glorify God in your bodies! Be a blessing! Do it! Amen!
