Let Not God's Word Depart From me

"As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says the Lord: "My Spirit who is on you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children's children, from now on and forever, " says the Lord. Isaiah 59:21

I don't know about you but I claim this promise for myself as I want my grandchildren to follow the Lord. I also never, ever want to not have the word of the Lord in my mouth. I never, ever, want to not have the presence of God in my life.

We can be so intent on having our children learn at school and be on track to a glorious future but if we neglect the presence of the Lord in their lives we rob them of a hope and a future for stability, soundness and peace. Left to our own devices we destroy. We may think our version of 'good' is enough but if it is far from the Lord, what does eternity look like.

Eternity goes on forever and ever. If we do not walk with the Lord eternity will be like being in an ISIS prison camp forever without reprieve. Do we want that? We have a hateful enemy who is a destroyer and motivator of all that is evil. If he can convince us our version of 'good' is enough then we are trapped into a destiny wih him. Don't be deceived, only God is good, only His aye lead to eternal life, everything else leads to destruction. Amen!
