Loving Him Yet Waiting to See Him

You love Him, though you have not seen Him. And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy, because you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that would come to you searched and carefully investigated. They inquired into what time or what circumstances the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating when He testified in advance to the messianic sufferings and the glories that would follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you. These things have now been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Angels desire to look into these things. 1 Peter 1:10-12

Just as we who have not seen Christ love Him, so did the prophets of old. I have just finished reading through Isaiah and all throughout the book Christ appears. Isaiah would have rejoiced in this. What I think is cool is that Isaiah had the Spirit of Christ in Him, as he passage above states. Like Mary I am saying: 'how can this be?' Throughout the a old Testament there were men and woman who were sold out for God, they lived for Him. They, therefore received a revelation of what was to come, the saviour would be born.

Just as we hope for eternal life, they hoped for it as well. A longing that is placed in us by God Himself for the glorious revealing as the Sons of God. A hope for more than we currently know. I want to see Him face to face, I want to know Him and be known by Him. I want Him to be a regular visitor in my home, I want to be in on all the projects, working beside Him, watching Him, listening to Him, learning from Him. I want to sit in cool places wih Him, flying throughout the galaxy with Him. I want to discover how and why and what. I know, I don't want much, just all these is. You see, He put that desire in me. I like that! Amen!
