Return Giving Praise

The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard, just as they had been told. Luke 2:20

The Angels had appeared to the shepherds and they believed and followed the sign given to them, that they would find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a feeding trough. They found Jesus and worshipped Him, then they went and reported all they had seen.

What has God done in your life? Who have you told? Do you recognise what He has done, have you stopped to think what He has done, have you thanked Him for what He has done? Gratitude starts the cogs of reporting all that God has done for us.

Today I spent most of the day alone, I had thought my granddaughter was staying but the message was not given correctly.  I had plenty of time to thank the Lord for all He has done so far, there is much. At 7pm I went for a walk with my neighbour and was invited to dinner. I have to cultivate gratitude so that God gives me latitude to speak of His goodness. I did not have to spend the day alone but knew I needed to stay alone. I had several offers of lunch but knew this was the time I needed to conqueror being alone on Christmas Day. Amen!
