Shame No More

Because your shame was double, and they cried out, "Disgrace is their portion, " therefore, they will possess double in their land, and eternal joy will be theirs. Isaiah 61:7

The Lord's justice is the best. When you are robbed of all that as yours and cast out like a dog, He sees, He remembers and He comes.

At times it has been so long that you would be forgiven for thinking , 'this is my lot from now,' but it's not. Just as a change in weather, at first, is not noticed, so the change in your world begins small. Soon a gale will be blowing and all the broken pieces will b blown away.

Last night I held my first Christmas party in the office. I invited everyone I knew and not everyone came but a few that did were delightful, I made new friends. I sold one painting and perhaps another. These funds will go to the farmers struggling in drought.

I refused to be offended by those who said yes and then did not appear, I refuse to wonder what was wrong with me but kept praying, 'Lord bring those who You want there.' He brought key people and they enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Praise God!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
