Demonic Activity

"When an unclean spirit someone out of a man, it roams through waterless places looking for rest, and not finding rest, it then says, "I'll go back where I came from. After returning, it finds the house swept and put in order. Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and settle down there. As a result, that man's condition is worse than the first." Luke 11:24-26

Jesus is here teaching the arrogant listeners who claimed he cast out demons by the power of Satan himself. They themselves cast out spirits, or at least their sons did. They were so confident in themselves and condemning of Jesus that they failed to see that without the power of God a person who had demons cast out would end up worse than before.

The clean vessel needed filling with the Spirit of God and this was the only safety. They failed to see this.

Today we still see evil spirits cast out and with correct teaching about Christ they do not need to fear being re-possessed.

Claiming there are no evil spirit possessions is also folly because they do. We have been seduced into believing that all evil spirits are far from us, they're not. In fact deception is very active. There is an uprise of unclean spirits as communities walk away from the bedrock of the bible. As Paul tells us in the first chapters of Romans, God hands them over to their deceptions and they are consumed with unnatural lusts.

I think we will see an increase, not a decrease in demonic activity. Are you ready?
