Jesus Spoke out of the Spirit

In that same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to infants. Yes Father, because this was Your good pleasure. All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son desires to reveal Him."
Then turning to His disciples He said privately, "The eyes that sees the things you see are blessed! For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see the things you see yet didn't see them; to hear the things you hear yet didn't hear them." Luke 10:21-24

I am so grateful that Luke wrote that Jesus 'rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said....' Luke brought the Holy Spirit into things as he was the writer of the book of Acts, he was with the disciples in the spreading of the gospel and saw, first hand, the moving of the Spirit.

Jesus did nothing until He was baptised in water and filled wih the Holy Spirit. He submitted to the Holy Spirit and was empowered by the Holy Spirit.

When we rejoice in the Holy Spirit it release the Holy Spirit to work and lead. Rejoicing in the natural is not enough, opening our hearts wide to the Holy Spirit fills them with His great power. The result of this was Jesus spoke out of the same flow and that word brought life.

When I consciously speak out of the Holy Spirit, I bring life to a situation, I must do this with intention, a determined decision to not speak out of my emotions. Amen! Different place!
