My Hairs are Counted
" indeed the hairs on your head are all counted. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows! " Luke 12:7
This morning I covered the verses from 4-7 but as I reviewed the scripture tonight I was impacted on loving a newborn baby so much that you would want to count all its hairs, let alone be able to.
I remember that love, seeing my children then my grandchild, my heart grew in size as it flooded with love for this tiny creature, so perfect and needing so much care.
We are encouraged to have faith like little children. Last night on Facebook someone put up a video of a baby meeting paper for the first time and it's reaction as the baby's father began to tear strips off the paper. The baby giggled uncontrollably, it's joy knew no bounds. There was no question as to it trusting and loving his daddy in return.
Our daddy wants such a relationship with us, His love is the same and more for us as earthly father's have for their infant children. The joy a father has coming home each day to a gleeful: "Daddy, daddy!" Arms outstretched and totally focussed.
We are loved dearly and we can experience this love as we wind down the clock, the tension and remove all distractions. He is so worth our attention. Amen!
He loves us, oh! How He loves us!
