The Right Place

After this, the Lord appointed 70 others, and He sent them ahead of Him in pairs to every town and place where He Himself was about to go. He told them, the harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the lord of the harvest to send out workers into the harvest. Now go; I am sending you out like lambs among wolves." Luke 10:1-3

These disciples were like the forerunners, yet they were healing the sick, unlike John the Baptist. Yet, Jesus was coming after them. If they were preparing e way and healing was a part of this, what was Jesus going to do? I suggest that healing is the opening up of a soul, next comes discipleship, learning to abide.

Jesus said the harvest is plentiful, and it is. It is us who need to be in the right place, with the right heart. Tonight I had conflicting interests: another Skate Park event and something I really wanted to do, join the Astronomical Society. However, I knew where I needed to be and am so glad I chose to be totally present there, at the Skate Park. I touched heart and minds. I was the First Aider and ministered peace and grace to three people, watched on by my team, who do not know the Lord, but are lovely.

I know that my time will come to join the Astronomical Society, but the right time is there for us to minister and that I did. I praised those who hardly ever hear praise, I ministered peace to those in turmoil. That was the best! Amen!
