A Spiritual Explosion

As Peter was travelling from place to place, he also came down to the saints who live in Lydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, who was paralysed and had been bedridden for eight years. Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus Chrsit heals you. Get up and make your bed, and immediately he got up. So all who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord. Acts 9:32-35

Peter is on fire! The saints in Joppa are on fire! And soon too Aeneas will be on fire. The fact that there were 'saints' already in Lydda could be because some of he disciples went there after the persecution in Jerusalem or they could have been ministered to by Phillip.

It is good to see Peter travelling form place to place. It would have been easy to set up camp in Jerusalem and not go anywhere else.

Have you noticed how God heals spectacularly and opens hearts to the gospels. Healing is a door-opener. I want this. I am praying that the Lord will use me in this way. I have prayed for my mother many times and seen her healed, other Christians and seen them healed, but not for a non-believer who was paralysed. I want to be used like this, I want the gospel to be heard by open ears. Amen!

Prepare the way Lord, open the doors!

There are ways God uses us to break hardened hearts and we are unaware as well. Today whilst traversing the skate park to my office, I stopped to collect a few bits of rubbish and a young couple were there. The husband said to me, "I have a friend and we bring our kids down here every Saturday, we thought we may as well bring our brooms and tidy up a bit." I thanked him, and whispered to the Lorx, "You did this!" I sensed His smile. I know there is a lot of traffic passing me every day when I pick up trash. While I pick up I pray the blood of Christ onto the park and the tossers and ask for a harvest of souls to come out of this park. Salvation is on that park, the Spirit of God is moving on that park, all because this little Chickie dares to humble herself, collect trash and pray.

I want fire Lord! Amen!
