Manifestation of Power

Many signs and wonders were being done among the people through the hands of the apostles. By common consent they would all meet in Solomon's Colonade. None of the rest dared to join them, but people praised them highly. Believers were added to the Lord in increasing numbers-crowds of both men and women. As a result, they would carry the sick out into the streets and lay them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them. In addition, a large group came together from the towns surrounding Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. Acts 5:12-16

This is awesome! This is what is coming again. Tonight I went to my connect group and Lo they are all wanting to talk about and study prayer, and pray. We had a great time and I heard the Lord say, "Out of your bellies will flow living water." Then I saw a huge flood up up out of us and cover our valley and crash against the hills with such power and force. There is a growing excitement and desire for God and prayer. Yes Lord! Yes! We prayed over a handkerchief for a sick woman in our church. Before Christmas this would have been too much. Go Lord!

I would rather live in the flow of the Spirit than anything mankind can offer. The Holy Spirit is full of presence and power. Amen and Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
