More Boldness

After they were released they went to their own people and reported everything the chief priests and elders has said to them.
"And now Lord, consider their threats, and grant that Your slaves may speak Your message with complete boldness, while you stretch forth Your hand for healings, signs, and wonders to be performed through the name of Your Holy Servant Jesus". When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled filled with the Holy Spirit and they began to speak God's message with boldness.acts 4:23;29-31

Opposition brings out a holy boldness in the disciples and a desire to connect with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit's desire is for more boldness, signs and wonders, more souls in the kingdom of God.

Another infilling with the Holy Spirit: there is grounds for wanting another infilling. I am seeking another infilling, I want more of the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Last night I saw the biggest gathering at the Skate Park in town. I have been praying for these guys and gals, especially the top man, Troy. I am praying an outpouring of the Spirit on these people, an awareness of Jesus and a desire for Him. Something is happening there and now I watch and pray.

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
