Circumcision or Uncircumcision, What is the Benefit?

For circumcision benefits you if you observe the law, but if you are a lawbreaker, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. Therefore if an uncircumcised man keeps the law requirements, will his uncircumcision not be counted as circumcision? A man who is physically uncircumcised, but who fulfills the law, will judge you who are a lawbreaker in spite of you having a letter of the law and circumcision,
For a person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, and true circumcision is not something visible in the flesh. On the contrary, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart- by the Spirit, not the letter. That man's praise is not from man but from God. Romans 2:25-29

Feeling superior for any reason, not only a physical one as in circumcision, will only benefit our egos but not our eternal salvation, if we fail to recognise our God's view and priority. Our God wants us to be pure as  He is pure, this can only be done as we walk in the Spirit.

Why do we crave superiority, praise and glory? Because that is what our flesh wants, that is what Satan wanted and our carnal nature is like him. We cannot dress up the flesh with piety, false piety and expect God to say, "Well done!" There will be no praise, no glory and no eternal satisfaction for those who walk in the flesh, just fire.

When we are insecure we want the adoration of others, when we are secure in Christ, we have the adoration of our Farher. His love is pure and undefiled. He does not love us for what He can get out of us. He loves us, because He is love. Amen!
