Did I Decide Right?
"I wish before God," replied Paul, "that whether easily or with difficulty, not only you but all who listen to me today might become as I am- except for these chains."
So Agrippa, Fesuts the governor, Bernice, and those sitting with them got up, and when they had left they talked with each other and said, "This man is doing nothing the deserves death or chains."
Then Agrippa said to Festus, "This man could have been released if he had not appealed to Caesar." Acts 26:29-32
Paul spoke powerfully and won the respect of those who, listened to him. These were not enraged Jews who refused to accept Jesus was Lord, that they had made a mistake. Yet, in their objectivism I hope the fact that they needed to be saved should not have escaped them.
It is right here it is wondered if Paul made the right request in appealing to Caesar. If he had been set free then and there he could have gone to Rome a free man, but God was in his request. There were people Paul would minister to on the trip to Rome that God had a plan for.
Today I face a manager and we discuss my future with AMP in my current role. There are elements about our current arrangement that do not sit well with me and I do not want to stay as I am. I have shared my faith with the manager and his soul is more important to me. I have to trust the Lord for my future, He knows what it looks like. Amen!
