Protected

The Commander summoned two of his centurion's and said, "Get 200 soldiers ready with 70 Calvary and 200 spearmen to go to Caesarea at nine tonight. Also provide mounts so they can put Paul on them and bring him safely to Felix, the governor." Acts 23:23,24

Isn't it amazing how far the Lord went to protect Paul against 40 Jews. The route they took went along the coast road and therefore the amount of protection was way above that necessary. God is good!

Paul had to go to Rome, he was willing to go to Rome and nothing was going to stop him getting there.

When God wants something done he does it, He pays for it, opens doors for it, makes way for it.

 I am planning on going to Nepal in September and have a lot happening at work between now and then. I have changes coming at work yet I have prayed and asked the Lord to make a way, He is. I know God's message of salvation needs to go forth. I want His will to be done, His Kingsom to come. This isn't about me, but His kingdom. If He is in it, He will pay for it and make a way. It appears He is already doing just that. The money is coming in. Amen! And it has only been 1 week.

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
