A Revelation is Needed

I speak the truth in Christ-I am not lying; my conscience is testifying to me by the Holy Spirit- that I have intense sorrow and continual anguish in my heart. For I could almost wish to be cursed and cut off from the Messiah for the benefit of my brothers, my own flesh and blood. They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple service, the promises. The ancestors are theirs, and from them, by physical descent, came the Messiah, who is God over all, praised forever. Amen! Romans 9:1-5

Paul had had a divine revelation of the Messiah and once he embraced the truth he was a man possessed by that truth. The blindness he once had, his fellow Jews still had and he longed for them to see what he could see.

I have a revelation of Christ that I long for my siblings and cousins to see. I cannot force them, I can only love them and pray for them, seeking any opportunity to share the Christ I know.

I had a revelation of the truth, as did Paul and I know that the ones I love need a revelation of the truth. Revelation of sin and the need for repentance is what has kept me and fills me with a longing for more. My prayer is that all may come to know their need and seeking the truth. Amen!
