Act Like Family

So then, brothers, we are not obligated to the flesh to live according to the flesh, for if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die. But, if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
All those who are led by God's Spirit are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, "Abba Father!"
The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God's children, and if children, also heirs of God and coheirs with Christ- seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. Romans 8:12-17

For a Christian, one set free from sin, there is no such confession, "I cannot help myself, therefore I will sin." Yes I cannot help myself but: greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world!!!! Greater! Greater! Greater! Amen! I can trust Him, He is my deliverer! Amen!

Therefore, as I am led by the Spirit, I am a daughter of God! As a daughter I have rights, the rights of family, the rights of access to the Father, mighty God of provision. As I let go and let Him be GOD, I am blessed!

Yes I suffer, but just as Christ was raised above all my enemies, so will I be. I am seated with him in heavenly places. Yes!

Come one! Get on sonship! Behave like a family member, a heir. Lift up the limbs that hang down, speak to yourself, prophesy to yourself, get it on Saint and Go! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
