Living in Harmony

For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the scriptures.
Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement  allow you to live in harmony with one another, according to the command of Christ Jesus, so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with a united mind and voice.
Therefore accept one another, just as the Messiah also accepted you, to the glory of God. For I say that the Messiah became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God's truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers, and so that Gentiles may glorify God for His mercy. Romans 15:4-9

I am grateful to the scripture, there is hope there. There is the Son there, the Way, the Truth and the Life is there. I study the scripture twice daily and enjoy the feast. It is not a duty, yes it is a commitment but a joyous one. I can be going through something and I read the scripture and it puts everything into perspective. Amen!

Living in harmony is a challenge. Not easily done, but with Christ very possible. When we must live with a person who is in our faces, complaining, bitter or revengeful, it is not easy. Yet with Christ all things are possible. A marriage may live on commitment alone but prayer makes it sweeter. I am encouraged with the old sermons of Smith Wigglesworth. He tells tales of women with drunks for husbands and others with religious spirits. He showed the women how to see miracles.

We must accept one another, even with our differences. If we were all the same we would only function in one direction. Our differences make up the whole, adds spice to a bland world and life.

Remember God is good and all powerful, allow Him to be who He is. Amen! Give Him room and miracles will follow.
