The Spirit Intercedes for us!

In the same way the Spirit also joins to help in our weaknesses, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings. And He who searches the hearts knows the Spirit's mindset, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26,27

If we want a sympathetic God we have it, if we want s just and caring God we have it. We have been given a Holy Spirit to indwell us, a Spirit who intercedes for us with unspoken groanings. Now, in my mind, unspoken groanings speak to me of intense concern and love. What love is this? How good is this?

I am watching my God go before me and do amazing things. Last week I was told that a key staff member wanted to leave and create his own business. This meant I was back to selling my own business and winding it up. I gave notice to the landlord and within days a new tenant came who wanted all my furniture, my telephone system, my computers, my internet and he offered me a job. Today this man inquired about what my business would be worth to buy. I am not, not going to do a thing except stand still and trust God in this space, whilst I continue to run my business as if nothing was happening. It is a weird sensation.

On another front I am planning a trip to Nepal, I will be gone a month and after doing a trek am a part of a reconstruction team in an area devastated by last year's earthquake. A band of untrained volunteers have to build a house. God has gone before us and showed us a very easy construction that I know we can handle. We only discovered the design last Sunday when visiting supporters of Nepal and there happened to be a couple there who ran a school in Nepal  and they were talking and as a part of their presentation was a building design.

I sense I am surrounded by a swirling presence of God and as I rest in it, I see His goodness and blessing.

What fun I am having. Now I have to relearn riding a trail bike, I still have my licence but have not ridden one for over 10 years. Fun!

Rest in God and allow Him to be GOD! Amen!
