God is the Judge
A person should consider us (ministers) in this way: as servants of Christ and managers of God's mysteries. In this regard, it is expected of managers that each one of them be found faithful. It is of little importance to me that I should be evaluated by you or by any human court. In fact, I don't even evaluate myself. For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. The One who evaluates me is the Lord. Therefore don't judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the heart. And then praise will come to each one from God. I Cor 4:1-5
We are living in a time of gross injustice. We have created systems that are corrupt. Any time we take God out of the picture and deny Him Lordship, we find corruption. Corruption is cruel and abuses those within its reach.
In America right now we see a country that is suffering under a set of systems in which God does not have access. The Financial system cheated and stole from the people, and called it good. It is arrogant and denies Godly principles. The Political System is full of greed and avarice, it has failed it's people and allowed the greed of the gun lobby to create the climate they now have. The education system cast God out. The civil system can only fail when God is absent. America as a country has denied God. The ministers, as a general group, have allowed the sin and have not spoken up, as is their task They have become muted by political correctness.
Australia is following and our time is coming. Unless the church finds its voice and stands up to sin we will bear the same consequences.
Paul knew in himself he had no sin but claimed that this did not justify him. God alone is our justification, our righteousness.
If I am unwilling to be the light I am called to be, then I have forsaken my Lord and His kingdom. Attending church is not being a Christian, attending Christ is being a Christian. What does He say? What is important to Him? The babies that are being slaughtered for convenience, the poor and the refugee been turned away, a life of no accountability, a life of ease and self-indulgence? Does He not say: lay down your life for Me? What does that look like?
People this life is not about us and our convenience, it is about the kingdom of God. Our only hope is to repent and turn back to Him. Amen!
