The Hope of My Calling

Even though we are speaking this way, dear friends, in your case we are confident of the better things connected with salvation. For God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you showed for His name when you served the saints — and you continue to serve them. Now we want each of you to demonstrate the same diligence for the final realization of your hope, so that you won’t become lazy but will be imitators of those who inherit the promises through faith and perseverance.
Hebrews 6:9‭-‬12 HCSB

The opening passage refers to what was in discussion in the preceeding passages; it refers to those who have known Christ and walked away.

Howver, I want to speak about what comes after. For you, who serve the Lord, diligently, He sees and remembers. You may be experiencing a dark time amd wonder if all you have done was worth it, it is.

I have been amazed at how God uses this single woman. He has me walk beside men, giving them support and encouragement, without giving me what I long for, someone to share life with. He has told me to wait and I have done and will do, until I breathe my last breath. When I think of eternity, I am compelled to be faithful. I want to be ready for the eternity God has planned for me.

Giving up is not an ooptio, faithfulness is, perseverance is, diligence is. I want my neighbours in heaven to be those who did the time, faithfully. There I will not be alone or unhappy. I will know the sense of finishing the task before me, loving those God has given me to love and serve.

In my business I love having female clients, to encourage to think big and outside the square. I am an encourager and will serve others this way until I have the call.

Eternity excites me. Life is not just about being happy now. I am training for eternity. That is my true home. Amen!
